The NumériS@nté project aims to develop educational programs in schools on the theme of balanced nutrition and the promotion of physical activity using innovative digital tools adapted to the context of the islands of Wallis and Futuna; this with the aim of reducing the prevalence of childhood obesity in this territory.

Objective 1

Improve the knowledge of children aged 7 to 11 attending schools in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, as well as their teachers and parents, regarding a balanced diet and the need for regular physical activity.

Objective 2

Demonstrate the effectiveness of digital tools in delivering prevention messages regarding nutrition and physical activity in schools in Wallis and Futuna.

The project involves implementing two classroom programs:

  • For CE1-CE2 classes: Healthy children for the future of our islands
  • For CM1-CM2 classes: Beyond the stars

These programs, specially developed for the Pacific region, include numerous tools (activity book, storybook, video, games, tablet games, etc.) and are accompanied by physical activity sessions.
