French Polynesia

After a trial period in schools on the island of Moorea in 2017, the Healthy Schools programme has now been extended to all the islands of French Polynesia. To date, about 30 schools have been certified; every year they create activities to raise students awareness of the importance of good nutrition, physical activity, hygiene, etc. Environmental and cultural issues receive particularly close attention.
